Having qualified in 1980, for the first decade of my career I practised in a wide variety of legal subjects. I now specialise in property matters, development works, joint ventures, partnership and shareholder agreements. Such experience affords me the ability to advise on this with the benefit of a wider background. I aim to have satisfied clients, and approach work from a pragmatic, efficient and cost effective basis. My recreational activities include squash, the occasional game of golf, piano playing and cooking. |

I started my training with Alfred Truman in 1988, and after qualification became a partner in the firm in 2002. My main forte is in Employment and Personal Injury Law, although I undertake most litigation work such as Contract Law, commercial and residential Possession Proceedings, Debt Collection and certain aspects of Immigration Law. Being a trained engineer I enjoy tinkering with anything mechanical. I play golf and squash and enjoy cooking. |
The partners are ably assisted by Solicitor Helen Girton (who specialises in conveyancing, probate and trusts) and Janet Maw a Licensed Conveyancer who efficiently deals with house moving. As a practice we are licensed by the Law Society to undertake training and usually have at least one trainee, sometimes two, who will assist the partners and fee earners with their workload, and all have a secretary who will be more than willing to assist you where possible. We operate a Telephone Answering Machine out of office hours, and messages can be left which will be dealt with the following morning. The accounts and administration side of the business is under the control of our Accounts Manager Roger Shipway, a qualified Accountant. |
