I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1972 and after a varied career in audit and business joined Alfred Truman as Accounts Manager in 1999, taking on an element of practice management besides.
I like to believe I bring the experience of life to the position, as well as my accounting expertise, looking after the financial and administration sides of the business. I also control matters of clients’ money, under the regime required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, one that is significantly more onerous than normal business accounting.
Retirement looms, and with it the thought of more time spent on the golf course, more use of the MR2 sports car and the resurrection of all things railway related, from 4mm to 12 scale!
